Tim’s soccer journey commenced at the age of 5, playing for his local suburban club before ascending to the ranks of Fortuna Koeln. His experiences include memorable matches against illustrious teams like Nottingham Forest and Derby County, as well as clashes with domestic powerhouses Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

Additional Highlights

German Soccer Coach Education

Trainr – Academy, German Certified “Fussballtrainer”

The German Trainr Academy is a pioneering soccer coach education program in which each trainee coach is assigned an experienced mentor throughout the program to ensure a seamless soccer coach education.

US Soccer
D-License

No US-based coach career is complete without a US soccer credential beyond the Grassroots level certifications, so I diligently learned all about the "Play-Practice-Play" philosophy.

United Soccer Coaches

Level 1, 2, and 3 Goalkeeping Licenses If one had to single out one position of a soccer team that is the most mentally challenging, the vast majority of people would agree that it is the goalkeeper position. For effectively coaching mental goalkeeper performance, I consider it necessary to be familiar with the physical aspect of goalkeeper practice.

Columbus Crew

Youth Soccer Coach Apprenticeship Program, 05/2023, Crew Youth Summer Camp Coach The club I currently coach is a Columbus Crew affiliate club and the Columbus Crew opens their doors to selected partner club coaches. The theoretical part of the program takes place in the pro-video analysis room of the Crew's state-of-the art training facility.
